Therefore, trademark registration in Israel can be processed either through direct national registration or via the Madrid International Trademark Registration system.

Validity Period and Renewal
A registered trademark in Israel is valid for 10 years from the filing date and can be renewed indefinitely for subsequent 10-year periods.
Trademark renewal can be filed within three months before the expiration date or within six months after expiration by paying a penalty fee. Under special circumstances, renewal may be possible within one year after expiration by paying the applicable fees.
